More alchemy, messed some more with the mirror function, also did a few fun things in illustrator to edit some of the lines. Threw it into photoshop for gradient fun after that.
You saying that reminded me of this fella http://manga.clone-army.org/maria_collection.php Amazing artist, his comics are super dark, and his "funnies" are probably some of the most sick/perverted (but funny if you don't mind the first two) shit I've ever read.
This would work as a comic, and I think you'd get uber points for sticking to a dedicated style that's not so... typical.
I worked at a No Frills, so I'm not digging the colour scheme, it frightens me, psychologically, but eerie and cool piece nonetheless.
I like this style a lot. You should do a comic like this.

AH! Clone army is so great :D Havent ready any of his stuff in a couple years though. Totally inspired a bunch of my old work.
